New guy with '70 LWB

Was wondering about the beds of others here. Repairing the front section and noticed the coragation is different fron 73-79's and previous. why is this? :fr:

First off... :wel:

I'm not an expert, but having had a 1966 F250, 1978 F150 and now a 1970 F250, the bed floor on the '64 and '70 seem to be identical, but that's anecdotal only. The '78 had a one piece floor that was rolled at the base corners.

As to your "why are they different" question, my guess is that the one piece floors in Dent Sides were less costly to manufacture.
