new member, I quit stalking
been working on my toy for a while now, it had been sitting in a parking lot with me eyeballing it for a couple of years without moving, 1982 F-250 Cab and Chassis that was last registered and driven in 1988
was raised in a ford family, my first vehicle (and what I learned to drive on the road in) was a 1982 F-100 2wd with a 3 on the tree, it was the first vehicle my parents had purchased new
over the years, I've gone through more vehicles than I have new pairs of pants simply because everything DOES have it's price, and people have always offered me that or more
this truck is going to be my money pit and long-term project, I'm turning it into a street legal drag and show truck
I'm 26, married with one kid and another due the end of August, I own my home and am a maintenance man for a rental company, so I am very experienced in plumbing, electrical and all sorts of construction
I have been working on my own vehicles since I was about 8, my dad was enlisted military, so he taught me and when he was gone I was the one who had to fix everything
if I can help anyone out with what I know I will, and even if I can't I'll still try
