my 61

Post by ezernut9mm »

my mostly stock 61f100 "unibody". right now it has the stock 16 wheels, but that's about to change.

15x5.5 and 15x8 steelies painted in ford toredor red metallic.

already have the rear tires, firestone indy 500's 255/60-15 for the rear and looking for a good deal on some 225/75-15s for the fronts.

Image

gonna do the "half hanger flip" to lower the rear. i'm not sure how i'm gonna lower the front. a drop axle is mega bux and so are mono leafs. might try my hand at an axle flip.

i think they do too, but they make me nervous living here in the rust belt. too many places for that evil stuff to hide. i really miss my twin i beams and boxy looks. not to mention my big fe power. i guess i could build a y block for this thing and get my daily dose of v8 noise.

I love that truck, especially the way the line goes down the side at a slight angle, such a smooth, good look. Can't wait to see the red wheels on it :D
