Brake Master Cylinder Question

Post by dcbullet »

I've recently installed a power booster on my all drum 1968 F-100. Brakes work great! However, I think brake fluid is being pushed out of the cap when I apply the brakes, maybe because of the added pressure? I figure I need a new cap on the master cylinder, or a new master cylinder. Has this happened to any of you and how did you fix it?

I have had the same problem you can bend the cap hold down so it holds it tighter. Usually the prob is just not enough tension on the cap.
