I'm replacing my shift collar and I'm trying to find the correct one for my vehicle. It's a '69 F-250 Auto. From what I understand the part # for this is something like C9TZ-7228-A. I've seen the replacemnts offered from LMC, NPD, DC, and Carolina Classics. All of them aside from the LMC part seem to have the shift indicator attached as a sparate part. The indicator on the one I pulled has the indicator cast into the rest of the collar. Is this an original part or another aftermarket one, because I can't seem to find a part # stamped on it anywhere. Or, do they just not make the original part anymore and only offer ones with the separate indicator. Also, is the LMC part (#43-7352) like the original with the cast shift indicator. From the diagram in their catalog it looks like it is the orginal design.

Re: Replacement Shift Collar ?'s
I haven't seen any that look like the originals with the indicator cast in. I am pretty sure all the replacements have a separate piece for the indicator, but I have been wrong before. I did mine with one I think from LMC, it was a Dorman product. Here is what it looked like:
In the package (#83242)

Back of package (Note: it says for various 1977-93 Trucks)

What was in the package (indicator was packaged inside the collar)

How the new indicator looks in place

As my springs were still in great shape, I reused them. There were two that fit inside each other on my '72 originally, and the kit only came with one. Here is what the original springs in mine looked like

i dont think they make the ones that have the indicator cast into them anymore. you just have to ask who your getting one from to see which they are selling.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I'll have to go with what's available short of finding a good one in a junkyard.
