What in the world?!?
Hey guys, I began the process of replacing my steering gear box (power steering) and I have been through every socket I own trying to get the very bottom nut off, the one on the output shaft. They are all either too big, or too small. Does anyone know what size it is?

i use a cresent wrench for that. i dont know the size. its bigger than 1 1/8 by a bit.

If you are talking about the bolts that hold it to the frame, mine are 5/8. As for the nut on the steering linkage, that is probably like 1 3/8 or 1 1/4 but you should be able to get off with crecent plumbers wrench or channel locks.

ok guys thanks. The power steering gear box is leaking so im gonna try to replace the seals. I dont how much about it though
