80's spindles same as 70's?

I need front steer 1" kingpin spindles for the race truck and you can get them off a 80-84 f250/f350 (8 lug obviously. And my truck is 8 lug).
Now can I just knock the kingpin out and just grab the bare spindles so i dont have to pay for the brake stuff and put all my brake stuff onto the 80's spindle, or are the spindles slightly different. I dont' want to buy all the 80's brake stuff if i dont have to. They will charge me for the brake fluid still in the caliper i swear.

If they don't swap then i should have no problems grabbing everything from kingpin out on the 80's truck and putting it on my beams, yesss?
