Hi all
New member to this site. Coorect me if I am not using this forum correctly. While the site is dedicated to a newer Ford, I have a 56 Ford 100 and looking for support in locating a 9 inch rear end to fit on this truck. Can someone direct me to an appropriate forum or provide me swith some advice as to the best donor for this truck. Much appreciated.

I believe that some of the 60's to maybe 72 Ford Pickup 9" rear ends will bolt up for you. The 9" rears out of a 67-73 Torino, Ranchero, or Fairlane will work with some mods. There are more that will work. Check the bone yards, the people that run them should be able to help ya find what you seek. Good hunting. Someone on here that is a rearend person will chim in and help you some more.
As far as looking for other forums. Just do a search for 56 Ford Pickup forums and you will find them.

i dont know of a web site or any info of that year of truck. but i think they may be called effies. that search keyword may turn up a forum for those years of trucks.
