72 F250 Wheel Bearings
Dumb question but does a 72 F250 2WD Camper Special with a 5250 Dana axle have both front and rear wheel bearings? Thanks!

Re: 72 F250 Wheel Bearings
Good day Terry,
Not a dumb question at all Friend. Yes, a 1972 F250 invariably has both front and rear wheel bearings (as far as I know).
By front and rear, you mean the front and rear wheels, right? I'm just asking because the truck also has both an inner and outer bearing for each wheel.
Are you looking to replace them? If so, I'd recommend USA-made Timken bearings like these:

They're only a little more money to buy, and you'd have the satisfaction of going with quality American bearings.
Perhaps you'd be interested to review the rear brake thread (including bearing replacement) that documents my 1972 F250 brake job:

I hope you have a fantastic day Terry!!!

yes both axles will have two bearigns per side for the drum or disc rotor to ride on. so there will be a total of 8 wheel bearings per truck.
