k. my buddy here who sits in the coffeeshop is telling me to ask you guys about something called "urea grease" and won't quit bugging me until I do. according to him, it is the hottest thing since ford trucks. :D

He's referring to Poly-urea grease, essentially a high-temp grease used in bearings and CV joints.

is it the thing to use in my f250 rear wheel bearings or do i stick with the good old stuff in my grease gun basic drum brake and grease fittings- the tube reads- that i did my grease zerks with? thanks.

i wouldnt use it for that. no. i liek the old fashion thin wheel bearing grease. i dont care for multi grease.

No, the stuff in your grease gun is light-duty lithium grease, it won't stand up to the heat generated by bearings.

what do they call the product my drum brake equipped f250 would need for bearings? just making sure, forgive my density. :doh:
