Hi all, The pedal bracket in my '67 was worn at the pivot bushing past any repair, so I pulled a '68 pedal assembly out of the junkyard w/the master cylinder. The bushings in the '68 part look great but one side would spin where it was pinched in. Anyway I cleaned it up and JB welded the crap out of both sides of the bracket so it doesnt spin, painted it and put it back together.
Questions are - There is some side to side play in the clutch pedal through the assembled bracket, is this normal?
I am missing the big clutch pedal spring for the "68 bracket does anyone know where i can find one? The "67 spring seems to be too long?
What if any problems might I have bolting this sucker into my "67 truck?
Thanks!

I've done that swap myself. You shouldn't have any trouble at all. You can now use the 68-79 brake parts like booster and m/c whereas with the 67 assembly you were stuck with the 67 parts.

Ok here is a pic of the clutch pedal return spring I need - the pictured spring is from my 67 pedal cluster ad looks to be too long. Are there any parts suppliers or members who might sell me one?
For fun I also attached a pic of the worn out 67 pedal bracket
it's pretty sad.

Help all my leads have dried up! Does anyone know where I can find this spring? Anyone have one - Anywhere I might order one - A part number would help too. Thanks

Ok - so after getting very desperate and just calling parts houses who did NOT list this spring, I called the folks @ Dennis Carpenter - Their nice tech folks reccommended I call "Green Sales" in Ohio. Well they had the damn thing and mailed it out that day. NOS in the box...
