This junk cost me $150. It may be alot, but I got it all at once. Proportioning valve, master all of it. I just completed my conversion last weekend. I got the front end from a 76 F100 for $110 back in July and then started collecting the necessary new parts. I couldn't believe the difference the power disc brakes and new suspension components made in the driveability of the truck.

Cool. I just got the old stuff out. This setup was a non power unit. I'm not gonna worry about the booster for while. I just picked up an old 360 with aluminum intake, carter carb, C6 trans, headers, and the necessary steering column for $125. Not to shabby, but its wiped out my budget for a little while.

Sounds great. I have the same budget issues as well plus only weekends when I can work on it. I haven't decided what my next project is going to be. I have a 3.70 gear in the rearend and was thinking about getting another center section with a 3.25 for some friendlier rpm's on the highway. Also, I think that I'm going to stay with a six cylinder, but want to upgrade to a 300 with EFI and plan on trying to control it with a MegaSquirt system. Plus, there is the desire to get rid of the points distributer and upgrade that to a DuraSpark unit.
