that is actually not a bad idea at all. If you can paint it without getting any overspray etc on the chrome...also, make sure you use a good chrome shop as it is difficult to polish in the small spaces, but if they do it makes all the difference. The grill's on the truck now and its all finished...have a look...

Well, look who's back. All it took was resurrecting a 4 year old thread. How have you been? Nice to see you and that beautiful truck. More pictures would be nice. I love them 67s. I can only hope that I can get mine looking that good. :thup: :thup:

Wow... nothing else needs to be said about that!


Now heres my question as I didnt see it answered. Where are yall getting repro grills? I saw it mentioned a couple times. I need a steel 68, my aluminum.. well do i really need to explain why i want a steel one!

They don't make new 67-69 grills. This is an original steel, painted grill that has been chromed. Very nice and worth the money in my opinion. :thup:
