Adjustment of Shifter Indicator
Does anyone know how to adjust the location of the shift indicator? My C4 auto indicator needle doesn't quite line up with the appropriate letter on the steering column. There seems to be an adjustment bolt on the steering column near the firewall. I was wondering if this would move the needle in either direction.

Adjusting that bolt will move the inner column of you steering wheel, and as a result it will move the postion of the indicator.

Not sure what bolt you're talking about, but normally the adjustment is made at the shift rod, the one which goes from the shifting lever (at the base of the column) to the transmission.

I just scraped the old misaligned letters off and wrote in new one's with a sharpie!
