What year springs interchange

I was wondering what years will all interchange on the rear springs of our trucks?

I have a 67 and know of a junk yard around here that has quite a few of the 73-80 series trucks.

Would those rear springs interchange with what I have?

i think i read on here somewhere that there is a difference on the mounting postion for the springs on the different years your talking about but i can't say for sure about the length without looking through the forums myself.

I know the '74 2wd springs will not fit a '80 4x4.
3 hrs tearing the springs off and it didn't fit. guess I should have measured first!
