proportioning valve

where would the proportioning valve be located on a 1970 f250 2wd with a 360?

there isnt one on a 70. they werent used until 1973 on trucks. the pressure differential switch and valve is on the drivers side frame under the cab right behind the steering gear.

ok i have a dumb question is there a difference between a manual and power brake porportioning valve or can i just add a booster to the settup and be fine

a valve has to do with drum or disc brakes. to get power brakes all you need is the booster.

thats what i was hoping i am not that knowledgeable with full braking systems yet but i know by the time i finish my truck resto i will be very familiar with every aspect of my truck especially with all the upgrades that i have planned. changeing the pads and shoes i have done for years. thanks for the info Craig
