Inline Tube shows a pre-bent brake line set for a '71 F250 4WD long bed.
Can anyone tell me if this would fit my '68 and/or '72 F250 4WD long bed?
Just starting to work on these and I believe they both have Dana 60 axles. Aren't the frames the same from 67-72, substantially? The guy at Inline didn't know if this was specifically for the '71. His thought was they identified it as such because that was what the old set was off of when they used it for the pattern
If they aren't identical, how much would this be off and where. I'm wondering if the kit wouldn't be a good way to go even if one line is off some. Maybe I could adapt it?
Any knowledge or experience in this area is helpful.
Thanks.

Re: Inline Tube set for '71 F250 4WD
I would buy the forward lines for a 76-77 F-250 4x4 if I couldn't bend my own nice ones. It's a pretty substantial waste to invest money in a front drum brake system like that. If you're stuck on keeping the front drums then go for it, but the lines are pretty different for discs.
To answer the question directly, yes, F-250 brake systems are the same from 67-72. 73-75 is almost identicle as well with the addition of a few extra inches in the long piece on the frame.

Thanks for the quick response! However, more questions:averagef250 wrote:I would buy the forward lines for a 76-77 F-250 4x4 if I couldn't bend my own nice ones. I'm not stuck on keeping the front drums, but had not been able to find discs for these years. Not looking for a massive project (already have a few) but can you tell me how I do that?
Out of curiosity, if the systems are the same for those years, what is it about the 76-77 that means I need to go after those? And does forward mean from the proportioning valve? Do you know who sells kits in front or back only?
As far as the rear, the 2WD and 4WD are the same? Just buy whichever I can find?
Many thanks.
