need some help with the leaf springs

ok so how hard is it to take apart the leaf springs. and where can i buy a re-arch kit for the spring and is there anything special i need to know

I pulled a part a spring pack on an S10 and all I did was pull them off the truck and take the center bolt out witch was a PITA and after it was out i just pulled the leafs that we were taking out and bolted it back together. As far as rearching you should beable to have that done at a local drivetrain/spring shop without pulling the pack apart.

very easy to remove them and take them apart .

yeah the only down side that i have run into is i have to get new u bolts b/c the originals have bent and are severly rusted where can i get good replacements

Oh yeah a driveline shop can make them. When I did some spring work on my old 70 I bought the one that O'Reilly's sells and they seemed pretty good to me.

i think mine are a bit bigger since i have helper spring set on the original spring not sure thou

helper springs on a F250 would need longer u bolts. and they may be flat on the U end.
