Buying new rims help

Post by gonzalo medina »

I have been wheel hunting previously and have been told there isn't many wheels that fit our trucks due to the big hub in the front two wheels. I have had my heart set on some eagle two peice styles but have been told they wont fit. I have decided to run chrome U.S wheels from summit series 26 and want to defenatly run the old schoolstyle bf goodrich radial t/a tires with the white letters any oppinions on this combination or suggestions on tire size and backspacing would really be appreciated. Iam 18 years old and have no clue how much back space or tire clearance is needed, I just simply want to bring the retro stle back to the streets of fresno

HHmmmm never heard that before. I know there are different hub sizes, but they offer plenty of rims that fit both. What are we working on and what front end do you have?

my truck is a 72 2wd 390 c6 explorer I took it to wheel king and there custumer service sucks I am looking to blow 800-1000 dollars on wheels and tires and they can't even help me out a little. I have drum brakes all the way around and just want something clean and original. Chrome is cool but would be willing to try aluminum. I see alot of rim styles I like on trucks on our site but don't know how to get a hold of them for info. I like summit there cool people and they could special order from any one but don't want to order the wrong size ,back space, and tire size....

If you see wheel you like in the gallery. Get the members name and come back into the forum to the "memberslist" to find them. You can PM them from there.

As far as rims that will fit an F100 2x, you should not have a problem finding what you want. If I remember right the hubs are pretty small. Do you have a pic of the ones you like?
