Front Coil

Post by mo-bronco »

Working on my '72. Awhile back I did the shackle flip on the rear leaf springs and then planned on cutting one coil out of the front. Got my grinder, marked the spot I wanted and cut it. Oops. Cut the wrong end. I should have flipped it the other way. My question is, when I go looking for a replacement, what other springs will be the same? In other words, what other years will interchange? Old Bronco maybe?

what are you working on a truck or a bronco? i have some used truck springs. but you may also be able to buy lowering springs for the fronts.

Truck. I have an old bronco, but it has a lift kit, so I can't compare to see if a bronco spring would be the same size.
