Wheel trouble

Post by Big John »

I have a 1970 Ford F250.
A Friend of mine got new wheels for his 2005 Ford F250 and he gave me the old ones.
The wheels off of my 1970 Ford F250 are standard lug pattern and the
wheels he gave me are metric lug pattern.
The wheels line up close. But is there any thing I can do or change out.
THANKS. -BIG JOHN-

Might look for some adaptors. Although you probably won't find any. The metrics' might be used to trade for some that will fit.

I agree...find some with the right bolt pattern. Don't start jury-rigging things, no matter how cool they look.

:yt: trade 'em off, they won't work on your truck.
In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!

I think the wheels were switched in to the metiric sytem in 98. I would put an add in the paper saying I would trade for some wheels off of a 98.
