I know I'm horrible and don't have pics of squat lately.. (Though there's nothing really to take pics of) Since I've gotten pretty good at reading these wiring diagrams I "may" try and wire in the 69's dash to the 87's harness for a cleaner look..
However I'd like to do this for my dash cluster in the future as a perm setup
Of course they are all similar sizes and would match.. I would still need to wire in turn signals and a few other little things, but overall I think it would be cool.
i can see those working great with an f600 guage pannel.

So yesterday I tried to see if the 69's cluster would fit, just to realize I ran the 87's harness in the wrong direction.. So I had to basically pull it all out and re-run it.. doh....
IF anyone has done an EFI swap on their bump and has pics of how they did the throttle pedal and linkage I'd appreciate it if you could post up pics and an explination..
Would be cool to get an idea on how I should do it..
I believe on your motor as in the 460 EFI im putting in it is a cable that requires pull... this is off the same link earlier with the 460 in the 79 bronco, I plan to do the same thing... have a 95' pedal assembly and cut/mod to fit in my bump. Take the one off the bronco fire wall
What pedal is that? I have something that's similar but it's all round and made to bolt on at an angle.. Was that the same way and just straightened it out with a vise?
hmm things to look at when I get home today.. 45 more minutes.
I've done them several different ways, even used solid stainless rod and heim joint linkage. Anymore I just lokar throttle cables cut to fit as needed. As for the 67-79 gas pedal, I cut the rod off at the pivot and make my own pivot from solid aluminum, drill rod and needle bearings. Kinda overkill, but when you want decent stuff that's what you do.
I did take a look while I was in there today.. I think I have an idea on how I want to do it..
Update:
I spliced in the NSS from the 69 column into the 87's harness for testing. Works like a charm.. Now I just have to find where I want to do a perm mount for a clean install..
if it moveves just like the bump pedal does why wouldn't a short cable ancfhored to the end of the pedal work?

Installed the 96 cross flow radiator and transmission cooler. Went to put on the clutch fan but realized the fan sits so high up that the center of the fan is at the bottom of the radiator.. So I have to go with an electric fan.. I have a buddy who is giving me a fan controller.. So that should be done soon.
I had major issues with the charging system. No matter what Altenator I tried it would not charge.. After a week or so of that I decided to plug in the bronco's instrument cluster into the bronco harness to see what would happen. (I had it unplugged and set on top of the dash.. Nothing plugged into the harness) Of course it started charging.. So that made me feel like a complete idiot..
Then after getting it charging I had to move it out of the back yard to do some stuff back there.. So I fired it up and actually let it idle around the neighborhood since I don't have a gas pedal set up yet.. Well when I parked it I noticed it was dropping oil pretty good. =( Of course I thought of worst case scenario and that my Rear main seal job I did went south and I was going to have to yank the trans..
So I got really burnt out about that.. Needless to say I was completly bent out of shape about it.. It has sat for a couple months.. Well this past saturday some friends came over to help me yank the trans and well we noticed the oil pan bolts were loose and it appeared the leak was from the oilpan gasket.. So I went and bought a new pan gasket, oil, filter and trans fluid. We decided to replace my leaking trans pan with the B&M deep sump pan I have..
After we did all the work I fired it up and let it warm up to operating temp. No oil leaks!! YUSSSSSS!!! However the trans pan is leaking.. =( I believe the cork gasket that came with the pan was no good. So I'm going to get a felpro gasket for it like I have on the oilpan. I'll recover all the nice new trans fluid and change the trans pan gasket soon..
Still haven't put in the gas pedal yet. =) However I have picked up an electric fan and am waiting for my buddy to give me the fan controller.
So there has been progress.. Very little in the big picture but some progress.. I'll see if I can get some pics up..
