Hey NoLimits,
Is your gauge cluster the one from Ebay that uses Dolphin Gauges? I have been looking at that setup and have held off on buying it because I dont know enough about Dolphin. If those are the same gauges, how are they working out for you? Do you like them and how long have you been using them?
Very nice truck and I like what you have done with the interior especially!

Ah, thanks for the feedback on those. Yeah, they sell that same cluster with the dolphin gauges on Ebay now for about $260.00 for the whole setup. I have been looking at them, but glad I did not make the purchase then. I just scored a 72 F600 cluster, so I am going to use those and supplement them with some Auto Meter gauges.

Do you have any more engine pics NOLIMIT? That is one nice Ford! What size is the engine? How much HP does it make? Torque? Are you sure your tires are big enough? They don't look big enough to me! J/K, it looks fine, I don't care for tubs although it sometimes is required.

The motor is a 1968 428 Cobra Jet. It makes around 600hp. Also I have not modified the bed in anyway to make the wheels fit.19FORD67 wrote:Do you have any more engine pics NOLIMIT? Where have I seen this truck before? I remember it because of the stainless trim. Nice truck...
P.S.
I see the the cargo light is upside down.

yea i didnt really know that until somebody told me at a car show one day , then i looked at some other trucks with it on the right way and i decided that i liked it the way i had it . i wanted to send a message to mike68merc I've been lookin on this sight for about a year now and I wanted to tell you that your project on your truck really looks killer I cant wait to see it complete .I know what you were talking about when you said people dont understand about people spending so much money on these trucks, but it shows more and more. as people on this sight that are really building some sharp trucks .have you got any photos of your truck lowered with the bed on it ? love too see that stance, these lowered bumps give the chevy c-10 a run for there money!

Thank You NoLimits for your comment about my truck. It means even more as I am very envious of your ride! I haven't done much lately on the truck (I'm on a poverty break). The bed is still NOT on the truck. Been rubbin' on it a lot though!
...quantunleap...I was gonna question your comment on the "1/3 the price" statement,
![Hmmm :hmm:](./images/smilies/icon_hm.gif)
...Cuz I've found that everything FORD costs more than a chevy of the same year!...(except the VEHICLE purchase price).
![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
Exposure of High Quality custom rides (like yours NoLimits) bring recognition & notoriety to our marque.
![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
How many times have you been to a Car Show or Rod Run & seen a vehicle that knocked you over, but you had never before thought of that make/model as a worthy base for a HOT ROD project?!?! .....then shortly after you start seeing other HOT new ones popping up all over! A trend begins!
...Or even better, have you ever seen a cool ride and said I've NEVER LIKED THESE AT ALL until you saw THIS ONE rodded.

I think thats where our trucks are right now. Until just lately everyone thought of these as tough old WORK TRUCKS. A few goof balls have cleaned em up, or restored em, but a few (even GOOFIER) Goof Balls have made them into cool rides! NoLimits..What the HE## were you thinking? People don't throw their money customizing old Beater WORK TRUCKS!! MARZ...You're even GOOFIER than him!.. hacking up that old nothing of a truck!!.....But hey!!! you know what? They don't look too bad!!!
Hey come check this out!! That looks pretty COOL!!...Whodathunkit?? .... Can you keep a secret?...MARZ's 68 is one of the reasons I started building mine. It showed how Bitchin' a WORK TRUCK could look! & NoLimits, yours (& a few others) "Set the Bar" that I'm hoping to keep up with!

Re: bumps with lowered altitude!! (lots of great custom bumps!!)
mike68merc...
I was referring to current vehicle projects or drivers for our era of trucks is generally around 1/3 of the price you be able to go pick up a comparable chevy in...
For example, i bought my truck for a woppin $2200...not bad when you're lookin at around $6,500 to $8,000
for chevy equivelant.
That being said, i know exactly what you mean abot aftermarket support for our trucks(not much at all) and its lame, but support is comming cause of guys like MARZ68 who take matters into their own hands...i.e suspension maniac and those bringing them to life in the pages of the mags.. as soon as i saw my farm truck..all i saw was a slammed custom..just not there yet.
Love your truckby the way..

Re: bumps with lowered altitude!! (lots of great custom bumps!!)
I went to the 2004 f-100 super nationals and a majority of the 67 to 72 f-100 were original this year i went to the 2010 f-100 super nationals and seen more customized bumps than I ever seen in 1 place .... That goes to show you that people are starting to see a potential in these trucks It seems like once u get into fixing them up you know about most of the ones that are fixed up nice in your area. To Mike68merc im looking foward to seeing yours complete and in some magazines
