light on the dash

I just bought a 69 f250 Ranger camper special, there is a light at lower left conner of the dashboard, and its on all the time once the truck starts. I don't have a owner's manual. can anyone help the answer what is this light for?

siunds like the emergency brake light.
try pulling up on the emergency brake pedal with oyour foot. that should shut off the light. if not the switch might need to be adjusted (or unplugged).

This sounds like a common problem with the brake system on our trucks. It's basically an imbalance between the front brakes and the rear brakes. Hence the light turns on.
