Brakes Pulling to the left...

When I use the brakes, the truck pulls to the left in a hurry.

I have put new shoboth sides, new brake cylinders on both and I just put new hoses on both sides. STILL PULLING!

Is there a fix other than dynamite?

Sounds like the brake proportiong valve isn't operating correctly . May be restricted or jammed inside

Check this thread . The 'h" block centering valve can cause the light on as well as brake appplication concerns

yeah, but I did a bad job on it so I had a mechanic do it for me and he showed me how it needs to be done.

I believe the proportioning valve only works from front to back not side to side. You would have either to much brake in the back or to much in the front.

You may have a blockage in you right side brake line.

Greg, just so we're not confusing anyone, it should be stated that drum brakes systems do not use a proportioning valve....they simply have a distribution block. Since the drums on all four corners are given the same amount of pressure, there's no need for any front-to-rear proportioning. However, when you add a disc brake setup, then you do have to use a proportioning valve, to balance out the different braking characteristics of the drum brake vs. the disc brake.

My brakes did the same thing. The truck pulled HARD to the left when I went to stop. Just about broke your arm trying to hold it if each time you tried to panic stop or stop at all with a trailer. Come to find out tonight that grease and gear oil was leaking into the right drum so it didn't have hardly any stopping power at all.

I doubt that would be a problem with yours, being it's 2wd and therefor only has a spot of grease in the bearings and no gear oil but it's worth a check to make sure someone didn't stick a greasy finger or hand somewhere during assembly.

Hmmm...maybe that should be "greasy finger or hand print somewhere during assembly".

That'd really throw you for a loop, finding a greasy finger inside your brakes

Yes the drums did get adjusted right, and no they are not fixed. And if what you are saying is that the dist. block only works front to back then we can rule that out too, right?

I did check the drum for any greasy fingers and any grease and I didn't find anything at all.

When I blead that wheel brake line it seemed to flow just fine, so I don't think that it is a blocked line.
