put the puller on with the nut all the way to the end of the shaft or even off if you really have to. get the puller tight on it. put your knees under the whel while you are tightening the puller and pull with your legs. if that doesnt work. smack the stud og the puller with a hammer. that usually pops it off. the best and easiest way once you have the puller centered and tight enough by hand is to use a impact. it pops right off then. i only use a harmonic blancer puller myself. those two botl steerign wheel pullers arent real good at doing older stuff. the crows foot type work the best in my opinion.
