bleeding new system

Hello, just converted my 66 to power and front disc brakes. All componnents are new, having a hard time bleeding the brakes. i have bleed the master cylinder but cant get fluid p[ast the porportioning valve. any ideas. possible bad valve? thanks.

is it a F100 or F250? and the valve is new right? it is a actual proportioning valve and not the original pressure differential switch (distribution block).

Yes, all the lines, valves, wheel cyls and calipers are new. it is an f100 2wd. rear brakes are 1966 the rest is for a 1979 f100 master booster etc.

if it wont come out of the valve then the problem is in that valve.

thats kinda what i was thinking. suprised a new valve is bad. but i guess it can happen.

my thoughts are that the o rings may have gotten lodged by then gettign torn a lsight or having excess rubber flakes on them and wedging the valve shut
