I got new tires for my truck. When I did, I also asked to have it aligned. I almost always do that when I get new tires, but it especially made sense this time since I bought the truck recently and had no idea how long it had been since it was aligned.
Well, they could not get the tie rod on the driver's side and center link apart. The sprayed some penetrating fluid, told me to drive it for a bit and they would try it again. I did that - and hit it with some PB Blaster a couple of times while I was at it. Just took it back and still no luck. I figure if they can't get it apart, I'm not likely to either, but thought I would ask to see if there are any suggestions.
It's looking like in order to get it aligned I may first have to get a new center link and tie rod...

Smack it with a hammer from time to time and soak it down for a few days.

re: frozen - tie rod / center link
I looked at AutoZone's online site, and it looks like the center link is about $60 and a tie rod end is about $35.
