Woodgrain applique -- where can it be found

Post by bwc302 »

Does anyone know of a source to get the woodgrain applique? I am mainly interested in those used on the tailgate and body side moulding, but if someone has them I might can use them all.

Thanks,

Bobby

That's a pretty good link.
I've been wondering how I could freshen up the trim pieces for my truck.
Thanks!

Thanks, those look pretty good but have you run across any that is a direct match for our trucks?

I have a 71 XLT and was hoping to find someone who was making replacements. Even if it comes on a roll or you have to buy lengths of it would be ok.

Well Bobby,

I haven't actually done it yet so I don't have any first hand info. I would get some samples from the link I supplied and compair to your original stuff to see what is the closest, then post here for all to see.

I took a look at the link and it did not have anything on the Burl Walnut for the 71 or 72. I have saved the link, but will keep looking for the Burl for now, if I don't have any luck I may have to go for the sample kit to compare.

Thanks,

Bobby

Hey Smokie, I went to JC Whitney and looked under the 71 trucks and it did not show any. Is there a category or subcategory I should be looking under?

Thanks,

Bobby
