Spindles and discs
Hey lads, I wanna start by saying thanks for all the help. This site is killer! This is my first posted question. I have done lots of reading through out the site, which has helped me. But now i feel like i am starting to get confused. Here's the deal; '69 F250 Custom Cab. The old girl had a seized Kpin and pulsing/ grabby brakes when i purchased her. The dude had converted her over to discs. With all the reading i have done i have yet to see the style spindle i have hooked up to discs. It seems to always be a different style. I can't figure out if it is a later year? Or was there two styles spindles in '68 when it became an option? I don't have a pic of the different styles i am talking about.

Re: Spindles and discs
No, most of the tutorials and discussions involve converting an F100 over to discs. Those require a different spindle (drum vs. disc). To convert an F250 over to discs, you keep your existing spindle, and just bolt on the disc hardware. I'm not sure if the '68-'72 F250 spindle is different from the '73-'79 F250 spindle, but I know you can bolt '73-'79 disc hardware onto '68-'72 spindles.
