Post by texrodder »

JUST BOUGHT A SET OF DROP I-BEAMS OFF EBAY AND THOUGHT I WOULD PASS ON THE SAVINGS ONLY $465.00 ,A HUNDRED CHEAPER THAN SUMMIT OR ANYONE ELSE.THEY CAME WITH TIE ROD RELOCATERS,BUT THE NEWER KITS DONT INCLUDE KINGPINS LIKE THEY USED TO, BUT THE PRICE IS STILL RIGHT. HERES THE LINK.

{{{{ SORRY BUT HE RAISED THE PRICE BACK TO $ 489.00 :cuss: }}}}

I bought the dream beams, shackles, hangers and rear drop shocks from them a few weeks ago. Great to deal with. It's a place called pro design hot rods in southern california

I sent them a message and the reply was-
"it will be sipped out same or next day of payment...20 days is to save our butt for hoildays, sick days. usually you have your order the standard 7-10 days it takes to ship. but everyone write back afer five days where is my part... so listing it at you'll get your part in 20 days frees up my email & time. Thanks for asking."
So I think I'll give the small guy the business here. :thup:

I have been thinking about ordering some djm beams too. I have a 1969 f100 , it has disc brakes that somebody else put on. I dont know what year the disc brakes are? Do I need to know what year the brakes are?

not for the drop beams. they used to come with king pins for specific years but now you just re-use your old or get them for your year.

i think if you were to contact him he would do the 5%. Don't think he would want to be sitting on the inventory.
14 pair left at $489 is $6846. :eek:
