What year column can I use for going for a manual too auto for a 1967 F-100 4x4.

67-77 and 78/79 but the 78 79 wont look correct. the 4wd column inner shaft is splined at the bottom. the 2wd columns have a flange on them that comes off with some heat and a hammer. and it has splines under the flange.

I found a 1973 Ford F250 Ranger XLT Camper Special 2wd and power steering and a c6 would this work and what do i have too do? Just the flange at the end?

yes supposedly you can heat up the flange around the shaft and knock it off of the shaft.

is that on the 67-72 column you can knock the flange off of?

i would say that it is all 67-77 2wd columns. i only know of two guys that have done it so far.
