I know welders have been talked into the ground here. does anyone have experience with this particular welder? found one locally, the price seems good. Im looking for my first welder. I know how to weld and Ive done it quite a bit. I want something that will be somewhat user friendly and simple, so I can get my groove back without ruining a couple projects . looking to do some body work and possibly some frame work, ive been told that this is the welder to get for this. if Im not happy with how it does on thick stuff I have access to a welder that WILL do it, but id like to, at the very least, do my measuring and tack everything at home. I can haul projects up to the bigger welder if need be, but id like to just get it done.
opinions?

I have one and it works good. It will easily weld anything on a pickup truck

I believe the 175 is rated to do up to 5/16 thick.
