ithink it will look cool when your done i'd like to see it. i like that look but i won't get rid of my wings. and i won't buy a truck that doesn't have them. but that one yellow one looks cool i'd like to see better pics of yours when the windows get done. i'm sure we all support you.

Why would I want to copy the chebby boys by putting on a Mustang II front end - to be like them??? I don't think so.

there are some people who say way waste your time with these trucks.
i guess i don't like somthings people do but they have to be pretty bad for me like it in some why.
also the vents where remove becuase its the easiest way to break into theses trucks. nothing wrong with stock but theres room for both.

don't spread the word about how to break in to the trucks please. i know how to do it. i don't want someone doing that me. i'm afraid they would just tear it up because theres nothing to steal out of the truck.

I have seen it done and it is a nice smooth look. I am also a guy who loves my wing windows and I really miss them when I drive a newer truck, but not quite as much now that I quit smoking.
The M2? Well they sure seem to work for a lot of builders. I've never used one, but mostly because I hated those little 70s s**tbox cars so much that it's hard for me to use any part of one on a truck.
I also like following your build and can't wait for you to get it finished. I might tackle a similiar project someday (maybe a lightning or H-D F-150 running gear)
Are you going to shave the doors too? I think I would, but I'd probably chop it too and I already know how you feel about that.

Same here. I admire those who have the talent to do custom work and it looks like you have some very creative ideas.

I was just lamenting how things have changed and was expressing myself how I also admire what car builders of the past have created in the their original designs.

I love old houses as I love old vehicles. I think they're built better and have more style, but my friends love new houses with all the high tech stuff. Neither one of us is right or wrong.

Be proud of what you're doing, but keep in mine that others have a right to their opinion too. No one was criticizing you.

That's the main thing I was wondering too. Seems to me that unless you found a bulk source for this, you'd have to piece together a couple sets. I'm sure you're going to have to (somehow) get some holes/slots drilled in the frame to install them....and I think that's actually going to be very tricky in the narrow space you have to work with!

well first of all how say i am copying anyone. and why not. its mine its payed for and i don't see anyone else with a anything close to mine. also the mustang II is not a chevy thing. there pleny of old ford trucks rolling around on them. i am not sure what your trying to say. no one ask you to changed your truck and i could care less if you do. boy i better just get offine becuase i am pissed by your lack respect for others projects!

i use to work out alot, need to start again, but my are is 18.5" around at the biecp and it didn't fit in the door very good. i have the same problem with the sandblast cabnet. can only get my arms in up the the elbows.

Looking for an update on this thread? How did it go? I saw an episode of Trucks where Stacy did this on a Chevy. I've had this idea forever, but haven't found the kit, and don't have the ability to do it myself.
