thanks frankdatank! (old school is the best movie ever) i realy like your truck and the wheels, great idea i wish mine was still the large pattern not the 5 on 4.5.

sport71 your truck is like the much nicer cleaner version of mine, i like it.

music_man70 i personaly like the 89 crown vic clip i put under mine. even better if you can get a newer one that unbolts.

Flip your rear axle and clamp your front springs.. I'd say about 2 to 3 inches.. You could also cut your front coil springs but be weary not to overdue it or your camber will be WAY off and your tires will wear alot quicker.

Looks like this thread is heating up again!

sport71 looks like the 71 really come together fantastically! XLNT choice sticking with the WIDE trim!...& the side marker trick is Bitchin!

1lowf150 I wanted to throw in some praise on your absolutely dumped 70!! 8) That thing is slicker than cat-s##t on a linoleum floor!
Your rear suspension is totally trick. How does she ride & handle? I've seen pics of your truck before & was very impressed with all your custom work!

thank's for the nice words mike68merc . your truck is bada$$ very nice. it rides and drives great in my opinion. with the 15's, bags on all four corners and the cushy bench seat from my old 73 xlt ford truck, i can drive it all day long no problems. i am running 8 valves but with no swaybars front or rear when you get it cranked up above 80mph it can feel a little like your on a roller coster.

An 80 MPH roller coaster sounds like a Blast :D ...So are swaybars in your future?

Hope you don't mind me posting a pic of your chassis. I found it months ago on some other site :hmm: I hadn't seen any Bumps flying anything like the Independent rear you're running. ---Like I said, It looks pretty slick!

I also dig the T-Bird turbine wheels (Complete with white walls.) My Turd colored Ranch-A-Roo wore a similar set from a late '70's Cougar.
This is my daughter looking really cocky the day she passed her driving test in the Roo & got her license. 8) After this I could hardly get the keys from her.
She knew COOL when she saw it!

Kind of off topic..I was going through the posts, and I saw where someone was talking about how my truck was on ebay. Literally right after I bought the 69, my daily driver started giving me troubles. I figured I would take the easy way out, and sell it and my other car and get something a little newer..after all I still have my first truck (72 F-250). Any ways it came to the point where it was about to sell..I turned the people down. I love my 69. I fixed my daily driver and kept my 69.

What a BEAUTY! Do you have any info on it? ...Hey TD & BlackPearl, check out the front bumper!...Looks like a modified Econoline rear bumper...?
Check out the shaved drip rails, the very tight hood gaps, the groovy rear view mirror, & what looks like a tapered nose & bucket seats!
....I also dig the SHELBY-like wheels!... :hmm: Looks like Coy's c-67's?...

Is there anymore pics of this truck. Very nice

67-72 ford and a 67-72 chevy. Nice. If there is one chevy I would own it would be a 67-72 c10. They remind me of the bumps
