Need Help/Advice

Happy New Year!!

I have a 70 Bumpside and I want to do some updates. I have been reading some of the forums on here and there are a lot of very sweet rides. My question is a buddy of mine has a 91 Ford van that he is pulling the engine and trans out of and junking the rest. What I am wondering is would the front suspension/brakes work on my bumb? I was thinking that a twin I-beam is a twin I-beam. I would like to cannibalize the whole van. Use the fuel tank to get mine out of the cab, use the steering column, seats...
So does anybody have any advice. I do like the crown vic conversions but I just want to get this thing on the road.

the steerign gear and van linkage is in front of the i beams and not behind the ibeams as our trucks are. it wont work without huge modifications that no one else has ever done. so you will be on your own tring to make it all work and or fit.
