Re: Steering stabilizer

I have a '69 F100 2wd. I have 31 inch tires and I put a steering stabilizer on once. It was a nice kit from rancho suspension. Not impressed with it. Didn't notice any difference at all, it lasted a good year or so until I off roaded enough that the hedders bangged the shock enough to break it. Then since I didn't notice the difference with or without it I just left it off. I was in your same situation, hoping the stabilizer would help but it didn't. Now I have everything new on it and I mean everything, bushings, sway bar, tie rods, drag link, steering box, etc. and it drives better than my '03 GMC truck! If you haven't installed a sway bar I would highly recommend it!
