Steering Column Rebuild

Does anyone know if any of the repo companys offer every piece to rebuild a 3spd.
column on a 72 F100.,mine is so shot, and is there a tutorial on this?

as far as parts yes i do remember about a year ago soemone posted all the parts they used and where they got them from. but he did find all of them.

I'm a little confused here. :?

In the thread you posted under "Drivetrain", you wanted to know which automatic transmission would have come in what I assume is your truck.

These guys used to offer a rebuild service for columns:

I don't know whether or not they still offer that service, but I'm sure they would be able to supply the parts.

If it's the bushings and insulators in the bottom end that you need (as shown in the tutorial link above), there's a factory repair kit available, which includes the two bushings and two insulators by the lower shift levers.

The 'Repair Kit, Transmission Gear Shift Selector Arm Bushing and Insulator' C5TZ-7343-A is available from these sources:

Everything is available except that plastic sleeve on the end of the shift tube, right?

That's the only piece I haven't been able to find. It might be included on a replacement shifter tube...but I'm not sure.
