HELP!!! steering column bearing problem

Post by bb429power »

I have a 1967 f100 2wd with manual steering and I just pulled the column apart. I can't figure out how the bearing for the inside shaft goes together or where it goes. When I pulled it out it just sort of came apart and I didn't get to see how it was together.

PLEASE HELP!!!

These are the parts that came out minus the ball bearings.

both the upper and lower bearign are the same bearign. thsoe bearign are very similar to all bearigns. they have two different sized steel rings basically and ball bearing in between those two rings. if the ball bearings have fallen out because the two rings came apart you need to get a new bearing. they are too worn out to reuse.
