Traction Woes

Post by rfariss »

I need some help in the traction area. My 71 short bed wheel hops badly! What is the best fix? I recently purchased the necessary items to lower my truck and would like to address this problem as I am installing these other pieces. Any clues? Also, I'm currently running 350 gears and am planning to change to 411 - so the need to hookup will be even greater!

I supose your shocks are new with the lowering mods? If so install an axle wrap bar (traction bar). Read this. http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/tech/susp/axlewrap/

:hmm: lots and lots of weight just in front of the rear axle. Maybe throw a volkswagen in the bed  Traction bars would probably be your best bet.
