Accessing interior door parts

How do I get acces to the parts inside this door? I'm assuming the trim comes off and that's the trick to get started, but I'm afraid I'll break a fastener if I don't get some advice from the pros. Please advise.

That chrome trim ring has metal clips which are basically a part of the ring, and those clips snap into holes drilled around the perimeter of the door IIRC. Just pop the ring off....don't worry, you aren't going to damage anything. Once the trim ring is off, you'll have to remove some Phillips-head screws which are hidden by the trim ring when it's installed.

Here's what it looks like. Sometimes when you pop off the chrome trip the clips will separate from the trim and remain in the door. When you reassemble it, you just have to pull them out of the door and snap them back into the trim.

Yea the paint looks good . Would love to see a shot of the door sills , looks like you rhinoed them if so how is that working for you

Yea, I Herculinered (new verb) the cab floor and included the door sills for good measure. I like the look. I may end up putting rubber or carpet over it one of these days but I like it like this for now.

It's Herculiner (from Autozone). I brushed it on. Also did my firewall and front fenders.

Thanks jor. That really has clean look to it and Im sure the sound level has gone down in the cab. I think I'll use a variation of you theme if you dont mind. Its not patenteded ( also new verb ) is it.
