I was looking at the 72 for reference on the 71 this morining, and noticed that the coil spring mount is different. The one on the 72 has something extra on it. Does anyone know why it was changed from 71-72? Just something I was wondering about. The pics of the 71 frame are not good, but can still be seen.

re: Frame differences
Hmmm....interesting! I've never seen that....of course, I've never had a '72 in my stables to use for visual comparison. However, I will have one within the next week or so....I'll have to see if mine's the same.

re: Frame differences
Ok, I would be interested to know why it is different, or if my truck is just an oddball. In the meantime, can other people with 72s see if theirs is the same? Mine is a 2wd, I dont know if it matters.
