Make my f250 a f150???

If I have a 70 f250 CS and I have a 71 f150 custom parts truck............can I swap the front end and the rear end,springs ect. and make it a 1/2 ton???

Well, you could 'make' it an F100, but the F150 wasn't produced until 1973. ;)

You could put the F100 rearend under the F250 to get the 5-lug setup and it'll bolt right up to the springs. However, F250 rear springs have a larger pivot bolt than the F100. You can't just bolt the F100 springs to the F250 spring mounts because the hole in the mount is too large. You'll have to cut the rivets off the F100 mounts and bolt them to the F250 frame. I'd suggest just removing a leaf or two from the F250 springs for a softer ride and then bolting the F100 rearend to them.

The front-end pieces should swap right over.

Sweet...thats what I looking for.....5 lug rims....I have all ready restored the complete interior and installed a new 460. Iam having a hard time finding large, wide, 8 lug rims.............Thanks
