I'm reassembling my frame and was wondering what shocks everybody was using.
I'd like mine to be a daily driver, but be able to handle betteron the road. No off roading. The only suspension modifications I plan are putting on the disc brakes, variable rate front springs that will lower the front byone inch, and adding a front stock (1979?) sway bar.
what shock absorbers is everybody using?

I like KYB's. You can get them from Summit, I posted the numbers a while back.

Myself, I've been using the low end gas
shocks that usually run about 15-20 bux a
pop. The ones I get are white, and are made
by a major co. , but I forget which...
So far, they have been ok, but I don't need
a radical shock.. Equal to stock is good nuff
for me.. I don't do any offroading , etc..
The new gas charged shocks I've been using
are actually probably a tad better than stock,
being they didn't have them back in the 60s...
Or at least on ford trucks..

I plan on using Gabriel's when I get that far.
