I talk to mine and pat it on the hood when I walk by it.
I agree aramil, if it talks back that would be scary.

Absolutely! I caress her on the dash, and tell her what a good job she's doing.

I've worked with machines long enough to know that they are often more than the sum of their parts...

The Eagle is a proud, tough, hard working gal, frontier stock, you know the type. She doesn't get around like she did as a youngster, and her looks have slipped, but she takes care of me and I take care of her. I just remind her of how much I value her.

Ok, that's starting to sound creepy....

it wasnt so much scary as the things it said would get a normal person locked up in the funny farm.... i also almost drank two bottles of vodka that night

i call my truck mr. blue and i thank him alot epecially when he helps me at this time where i need my truck to make some extra cash ...

Mr. Greenjeans is a good old truck. I do curse when working on him from time to time,
but it's not directed at the truck just the knuckleheads who worked on him before me.

I've been working on him all summer and he runs much better than before. We still got
a long list of things to do to get him all the way healthy but we'll get there cause I'm not
giving up and I know he won't either.

No, never .......... Well, maybe!!!! Oh well, I gotta admit it. I am such a bumpaholic that yes, I talk to it alot. Sometimes I brag to it, other times complain to it, and other times explain how I'll never finish it no matter how much I try. Sorry stuck-up never talks back unless it wants something though!!!! It's side of the conversation is: I want a new bed. Where's my new transmission? Are you ever gonna get me to the bodyshop for my makeover!? I want new seats. I WANT is its favorite phrase. It is high maintenance. However, just like you answer your wife, you answer it yes, I'll get it as soon as I can!!!! Just goofing off, but yes, I do talk to my truck. Unfortunately lots of the above rambling are true though!

yes i talk to my truck all the time and it talks back she says that she likes the new rebuilt engine the header, dual exhaust, and radiator but then she gets mad and yells at me for cheating on her with my car i think my truck is bipolar

I read the book first, several years ago.

The book was one of those you just can't put down.

The movie really didn't do it justice.

My wife and I talk to our trucks all the time. They have never let us down. My wife's truck won't start right now and is not talking when I could really use an answer to fix it.
