That does not sound good. The guy at our local speed shop has been saying for quite a while that the Holley quality control has not been what it should be. He said he has had to send to many carbs back that were just plain defective and that it wasn't caused by the guy who purchased it.

I like Holley carbs myself but I will be the 1st to say that quality control has gone down hill. I bought a Street Avenger 670 I guess about 3 years ago. The base was warped. Took it back for another. It was warped. Took it back and same thing. I got my money back and rebuilt my 10 year old 1850 and been running it since.
I know a guy that bought a brand new Edelbrock Thunder series (?) Is that right? Anyway, he could'nt get it to idle right at all. Opened it up and it had shavings all inside it like the early Demons did. He returned it and opened the new one at the part store, same thing.
I think quality control is going down hill everywhere

Chapter 11 doesn't mean anything. It's just a court supervised restructuring. If it were a ch.13 then there might be a problem.

Chapter 13 is court-supervised restructuring for individuals.

I think you meant Chapter 7.
