302 in a f-100

302 in a f-100
i have a 68 f100 with a inline 6 240 would a 302 fit and can i use the 3 speed i have now any help on this the ends and out of what i may need thanks

First off,
to Fordification. Stop by the welcome mat & introduce yourself. BTW, we LOVE pictures.
The 302 will fit & the 3 speed will bolt up to the 302. The 240, 300, 302, 351W & 351C have the same bolt pattern. I think your going to have to change the engine perches. Im not 100% tho. One of the experts will chime in.

you can get away withoutchanging the perches but it will put extra strain on the driveline. because of the slight angle the engine and transmission will sit.
