upgrading my 360

Post by mouse »

so far I have a 390 s code 4 barrel intake, 600-615 holley with mechanical secondary, comp cam high energy 268h with 218@.050 and 0.494 lift, comp cam lifters, a set of flowtech headers, and toped with a set of cheery bombs. I am going to install all this when I get some free time and can have my truck down, my main question is what is the best way to make sure I have the right length push rods.

If you haven't changed the from the stock rocker arm/shaft the original push rods should work. If you have solid lifters and adjustable rocker arms you may have talk to the cam manufactor for the correct ones. I have seen a adjustable push rod that you use to determine the correct length I believe Jeg's or Summit sell them.
