DISTRIBUTOR
SINCE I HAVE AN MSD DISTRIBUTOR IN MY 300 SIX IN LINE ENGINE AND IT JUST GOT REPLACE WITH 351M ENGINE....I WAS WOUNDERING IF I CAN USE IT IN MY NEW ENGINE OR HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE?

He'd still have to "splice them in"
The trigger wheel would still only have 6 triggers.
The other option would be to cut two of the cylinders off with a torch and make a V6...

ok i dint know it had triggers. i was thinking it ran off of the dist points cam. i have no knowldge of these modules or whatever they are.

Remember, even with a conventional distributor on a V8, the points have to be activated 8 times each time the distributor shaft makes a full revolution.
Same thing with electronic ignition.
