Line Locks?

Anyone have any experience with a particular line lock? I am looking at getting one for my truck. I just fixed the brakes and now I cant power brake it to do a burn out. I figure I line lock would take care of that. Any thoughts?

Honestly, I really would rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy.

1969 F-100 4x4 Dana 44 w/ disk brakes and power steering conversion 390 c6 np205.
1970 F-250 97k original miles bone stock 390 np435 most original unmolested truck I have ever owned.
2001 F-250, Extra Cab, 4x4, 7.3 Direct Injected Turbo Diesel, Edge Programmer, Flowmaster 4" Turbo back Exhaust, 3" Leveling Kit with 33" Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs, and has 250,000 miles and counting.

It's a simple solenoid that plumbs into the front brake line and holds pressure only on the front brakes.

Also good for starting on steep hill with a clutch.

I had the Hurst "roll control" on my duster & liked it. Its a pretty simple set up once installed.

Cool I was looking at the Hurst kit. Might go with that one, theres a few to choose from on the Jegs website. Thanks for the suggestion.

if i wanna power brake my truck i hafta stall it up like im gonna power brake it then let off an reapply the brakes a couple times so it starts to spin itll wheel hop a lil an i let off the brakes a bit more to get a good spin. have u tried that?

Yeah I could try that. I think a line lock will be better that way I wont wear out the brand new rear brakes I just put on. Its only like $80 for the kit and it will make burn outs a lot easier.

You could always rig up a windshield washer pump to wet the rear tires . :D

Lol my dad did that in his Chevelle back when he was my age. He was the home boy that destroyed all the rich kids.

I have the Hurst Roll control on my '70. works great! easy install, never gave me any trouble int he 3 years it's been installed. ;)

Ummm, sorry if it's obvious, but if you don't want to wear stuff out then don't power brake. :eek:
